Mais au-delà d'une dimension historique, le gameplay est très satisfaisant et nous fait évoluer assez intuitivement dans l'histoire.Ĭoncernant les parties jouables, elles sont paramétrables à souhait, que ce soit la vitesse d'évolution de la partie, de la forme des continents et du monde sur lequel on désir jouer en passant par le personnages que l'on souhaite incarner les parties sont modelables à outrance et rendre chaque parties réellement uniques. On retrouve ici la dimension didactique de la notion autrefois plus propre au théâtre de : plaire et instruire.
Des personnages jouables reprenant assez fidèlement de célèbres personnalités ayant réellement existées jusqu'aux nombreuses citations lors de la découvertes de doctrines scientifiques ou encore culturelles en passant par un système de personnages dit "illustres" ce jeu sait développer une manière divertissante d'apprendre en s'amusant. Premièrement, le jeu est très fourni en références historiques. En effet, la majorité, si ce n'est tout les aspects du jeu sont très bien intégré dans des éléments de jeu.

The graphics look less realistically, it looks like a cartoon. On the other hand they can build things instantly so no more waiting. Workers can no longer build things infinitely, their standard builds are limited to 3 (depends on your policies, etc.). One the most annoying parts of this game is the change they made on workers. I liked it more when I could see the wonders placed inside of my city. Wonders also take one tile of space, which I'm not a big fan of. I think the military one is quite a bit too strong since its health and defense is over the top. Each one of those districts takes one tile and their purpose can be different - science, military, culture, you know what I'm talking about. I definitely recommend you check that one out. It also has nature disasters so you will need to settle new cities more carefully or prepare your workers for the worst. The best one is the Gathering Storm, which makes the empire management more realistically in terms of building dams, etc.
